Minnesota players announce a boycott of their Holiday Bowl game to protest player suspensions.Â The suspended players are accused of sexual assault. They claim it was consensual.

Sounds like a Stanford Softball situation in the making in that parents and players are getting involved and it could turn really ugly.

At least Minnesota fans can take solace in the fact their Women's Volleyball team might win a national... oh, wait.

Well, I think the Holiday Bowl would be inviting the next best Big Ten team if Minn decided not to show up...

But if it were a Pac-12 team doing the same, I would take dark pleasure in the Holiday Bowl's failure to select Stanford.

I think the Browns are looking for a game they could win this year and would probably be favored against WSU.

Glad the Holiday Bowl passed over us. Who needs the circus?
