2012 and 2013. The latter was even more impressive. Of course in those games the offense controlled the ball for 38 and 42 minutes. THAT is the best way to defend an explosive offense. Keep them off the field. I do not think this Stanford team can do that.
Do you know something we don't? Like maybe Josh Rosen has decided to sit this one out in protest over NCAA policies, or perhaps because he thinks it would be more fun to spend the weekend in the hot tub with one of his many coed admirers?
Anyway if we hold UCLA to 13 points I will be extremely (pleasantly of course) surprised. Of course, I would have said the same thing about the Ducks and Marcus Mariota in 2012.

Entered in the form...
As psyched as I was for the season to start and see how all our pieces fit together, I fully expected growing pains and some struggle but nowhere like this. I envisioned this season as an extended training camp for our NC run in the 2018 season somewhere in the 9-3 range :) I think we will still get there. Its important for us to lose a few games so we can get the chip back on our collective shoulders and be the underdog world beaters! 8)
I am extremely gloomy now but no matter how bad it gets ... my heart will never let me pick against our beloved Cardinal. Genuinely afraid for the safety of our players - the more we beat down on the nasty Bruins the dirtier they play.
Cardinal 21
Bruins 13
D wins us the game with a pick 6
