I might get downvoted or censured for this but this community seems relatively thin-skinned, certainly compared to the free-for-all that developed on one of the other sites. And that definitely extends to Board Ops.
But I get it, its a different sandbox with different rules, and we all have to adapt. And its free, which is refreshing.
I just wish the little software substitutions, which I find rather juvenile, would go away.

Actually, I disagree with this assessment and quite frankly, I appreciate the tone of the community here. There is nothing wrong with a few CC&Rs to keep the neighborhood friendly and *relatively* troll free. While a minor grouse, I do agree that the auto-script changes (such as cal) that make the posts more difficult to read.

Wait a minute. I don't think Uma Thurman has ever been on this board and that did not prevent a certain individual from discussing - denigrating - her proboscis as one example. I guess some animals are more equal than others around here. Makes sense; that's life. :P
