I haven’t followed our recruiting too closely. Does this mean our incoming class isn’t rated that highly?

I also don’t follow the draft close enough to know where Little ranks relative to other draft eligible closers but I’m not super surprised in the sense that his performance this season hasn’t been what it was in 2018. I’m guessing he would’ve made the list if he was draft eligible last year. Selfishly, I would love to see him back for his senior year if he isn’t drafted where he thinks he should be.

Given how many years it takes to make it to MLB, unless you are a top 100 pick, maybe even top 50 pick in the MLB draft, going to college - especially Stanford - to get your degree makes a ton of sense.

I wonder if Bellafronto is coming back.  He's a redshirt junior this year, so I assume he's on track to graduate.  He was the best Stanford player at the plate yesterday with an HR and a walk in four plate appearances.  He's currently #4 in OPS and slugging percentage among the nine players with substantial at bats.  Still, his BA is just .276 and he has the third highest strikeout ratio, so he's unlikely to be drafted high if he's drafted at all.
