Of the thousands of correspondents, producers, writers and actors I’ve worked with for 52 years Don Klein was the finest and nicest of them all. Loved to talk about the old Seals greats that Bobbbbbbb and I grew up watching on 16th and Bryant. His call of Elway’s scramble against SC and hitting Margerum over Ronnie Lott in the EZ is almost up there with Russ Hodges. “...he better throw it...........he does........ man clear in the end zone....... Margerum touchdown!” And he never was a bullschiter and homer like Starkey.
