Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli\'s experiment in redemption has ended. Â Already on a year\'s suspension from the team, he has now been kicked off the team for a drug possession arrest. This, on top of the computer theft conviction earlier this year. Masoli wasn\'t a thug, just a common, stupid kid with criminal tendencies. Now the only sports award that awaits him is the coveted Lawrence Phillips Recidivism Award.
Add: I was wrong. Masoli was a thug. He got kicked out of his high school for joining some of his buddies in a group assault on a kid. But he was misunderstood, just the kind of kid the Oregon athletic dept. can help.
