When it comes to the Demar Dorsey issue, many people are upset at the denial of the top recruit because they are under the assumption the University was aware of the Dorsey’s criminal record before he was recruited.  Thus, if they were aware of it before recruiting him, they can’t hold it against him later.

According to ESPN, when it came to Rodriguez’s knowledge of these previous transgressions: “he didn’t know about the player’s previous run-ins with the law.”
