My point was the Giants will face one less quality starter as a result of Clevinger not being available in first post season series. Padres aren't going to burn a top starter on Sunday. I was watching YES last night and heard David Cone talking about biceps tendinitis (what Clevinger has), and he said it's a really big deal. If you shut down early enough inflammation can be avoided, which would make in a 1-2 week sidelining. If there is inflammation, it will be really tough for Clevinger to pitch this post season. As someone who had rotator cuff tendinitis, I know first hand how debilitating it can be.
On another note, the Giants have quietly possibly found their Centerfielder of the future: https://theathletic.com/2090046/2020/09/...=twittered
