I just saw highlights of the Michigan-Michigan State game. Both teams were in alternate uniforms. Michigan's were throwbacks. Michigan State's were, um, the uniforms worn by the team that won the ball game.

Michigan has a helmet that limits creativity.  They won against Notre Dame, but lost against MSU.  The guys in the booth were generally pretty positive about the Michigan State look.
