I agree, but I don't see a national lockdown happening.  So, if not, you kind of just have to move forward best you can.   But no, I didn't see it and it stinks they let fans in and did not enforce masks.  I think that is going to obviously vary by state.

I agree, but I don't see a national lockdown happening.  So, if not, you kind of just have to move forward best you can.   But no, I didn't see it and it stinks they let fans in and did not enforce masks.  I think that is going to obviously vary by state.

Coastal Carolina, with about 10k students, has reported 335 COVID cases.  That is not as bad as Clemson with 5086 or U South Carolina with 3037, even those those two are much larger schools.  But maybe Coastal Carolina is just not testing anyone.  In any case, South Carolina with 3960 per 100k is considerably worse than California with 2778 per 100k. 

It could be worse.  They could have been playing in N Dakota with 9393 per 100k, the worse spot on the face of the globe.  The North Dakota State women begin their season on December 2.  The University of North Dakota (1704 cases, 10163 undergrads) women are only playing on the road until December 16 when they have their home opener with....North Dakota State.  Before that they have 4 away games.  I wonder if they will be flying a yellow plague flag from their team bus as they pull in to Chicago State.

Seriously, my prayers go out to the people of North Dakota, including their student-athletes.  They are losing a lot more than basketball there.
