This group will meet once a week on the astral plane to think good thoughts about Rich Rodriguez and U. Michigan. As someone had the good sense to point out in the middle of Expansionpalooza, Stanford\'s fate is more linked to the kind of season Michigan has than the number of teams in the Pac-10.
If UM has another crummy season and Stanford has a decent season, the Wolverines could make a serious ($$$$) run at Harbaugh and there\'s no reason to believe Harbaugh wouldn\'t take the job. All that unpleasantness about low academic standards and Mickey Mouse majors for football players would conveniently disappear down the memory hole.
So even if Stanford would be much better off than when Harbaugh arrived, the best defense is a good offense, and we should be sweet-talking the Gods of Woofing to let RichRod and the Wolverines to have lots of success in 2010.
Once a week should be good for now. If UM starts going south and loses to Notre Dame, we will immediately go to twice-a-week. If they lose to Michigan St., we\'ll be at DEFCON 4 and throwing in a phalanx of Thai Bhuddist monks, 24 hrs. per day via satellite.
Think seriously about joining this effort. Our 17-person class currently has eight 4-star players. The latest commit, Remound Wright might just force other RBs to look elsewhere although the speculation is he is headed for CB. Pray for steady momentum in Palo Alto and great improvement in Ann Arbor.
