But good game for the guys. Angel is becoming more and more valuable, Jones twice as good as last year. No need for Reynaud as Liberty had no height but were more experienced under the basket. Ingram clutch twice over at end.

Arrgh. These damn ///// are drama magnets. Can't drop a hammer on anybody. In Pac-12 play that's going to be a problem.
Liberty is actually the number 3 team in the country in terms of how many threes they shoot. 53% of their shots are threes. We could have known there would be an opening blitz and we managed to withstand it. Up by 9 with less than a minute to play should be game the f/// over. Out-to-lunch coaching and free throw shooting gave them a swing at this game they should never have had but it's another harrowing win. One wonders if O'Connell would have had a better chance making free throws at the end if he were shooting from the Polynesian H.
How about a win in the final for Christmas against Vanderbilt or BYU?

I'm not sure who's worse: Jarod Haase or David Shaw. Both seem like decent guys and usually recruit reasonably well, but as for strategy and in-game decision-making.......

Basketball is inherently flawed in that there is so much subjectivity in officiating, with no possible solution that I can see. They travel, foul, and occupy the lane for more than three seconds constantly, and double dribble often. Sometimes those rules are enforced, but often they are not. That leads to the "nothing gets called on Boston, but everything gets called on Brink and Keefe" reality.

I noticed Spencer took the technical free FTs.
Has he become a good FT shooter (hasn't he historically been around 60%?) or were the other options not good?
Hoping the former, especially if MOC is going into a funk.
