If Lexie wins, she should make sure you are in a picture with her holding the trophy . . .

I voted about 10 times and got it up a tenth of a point to 79.4.
After all the Voldemort debacles I want to make sure this one doesn't slip away from us.

Absolutely right, don't let it slip away -- never have succeeded with this in the past even when had great, great Stanford stars nominated. Just voted about 10 more times, now up to 79.5 (at least when I left the site). I'm determined, but we need lots of us to vote. There are several weeks left and need to keep it up.

Bump!
Still going strong at 80.0%, but recall that fan balloting counts for only 1/3 of the total with the remaining 2/3 determined by NCAA Division I coaches and members of the national media

Lexie is almost to 90%. Keep voting and push her over. How can they deny her the title if 90% of fans choose her?
Put a glide in your stride and a dip in your hip.

Sorry, let me re-phrase that.

They can do what they like with their award, but why establish an online fan voting system if they intend to ignore an overwhelming voting preference?

That near 90% is indeed overwhelming, but "how can they ignore. . ." , well it certainly can be ignored if it's thought to be bogus. And that concerns me. I just can't believe that someone isn't stuffing the ballot box with a voting program. Yes, we all love Lexie and many of us are voting for her multi[le times (including me). But near 90%? That's near impossible unless people at other schools just aren't voting at all, and I don't believe that -- until, perhaps, Lexie reached the point where her lead was so immense that supporters of other players reacted, why bother, it's rigged. I hope the vote being gamed by a voter-program by a Lexie supporter is not the case, but I think the odds are good that it is. And if so, as a strong supporter of Lexie, I think that's a shame. (BTW, I started this thread in hope of getting Stanford people to vote for Lexie, and it's working, but . . . is the vote legit? )

I, and I think a lot of other people, are voting 10-20 times for Lexie each time we log on. This reflects what I think the site intends, which is to get a measure of the passion of the candidates' supporters.
