Tiger's plane was spotted today at the Augusta, GA airport. Apparently he's going to play 4 consecutive days and if his leg holds up, he's playing.

The real question is whether he can play 4 days in a row on his still-recovering legs. If he can play, he'll be in the field

I doubt Woods will be within 10 strokes of the lead after 36 holes. Anything's possible, of course, but this is unlikely. If he does make the cut more power to him, of course.

If only there were legal precedent for this…

I think Tiger could have a case given PGA v. Martin, but I will admit to not being a lawyer, and maybe the ADA would treat recovery from an injury differently than a chronic condition.

Does it matter that it is not an incipient medical condition but a result of Tiger's own negligence?

Quote: In the case of Summers vs. Altarum Institute Corp., No. 13-1645 (4th Cir. January 23, 2014), the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit answered the question, ruling that a temporary and severe impairment does in fact qualify as a disability under the ADA, and thus persons with such temporary and severe impairments are protected by the ADA.

Given the publicity that has *practice* round generated, I don’t think Tiger would even have to cite the ADA for the PGA to give him an exemption to use a cart, but probably good for him not to ask for it.
