It really BUGS me that rather than letting Patu or Daniels have the experience of trying to punch it in under time pressure, Shaw has him quit with 35 seconds to go at about the 20 yard line.

Likewise. Shaw could have given his backup qb two minute experience without pressure. I'm convinced Shaw did this to prevent another UCLA score, as if it made a difference.

Do we think this mercifully ends the slo mesh?. Count tonight's announcers among those who don't think it fits. At this point I'd just like to see McKee have a chance to throw down field. He's put up with enuf.
