I read an article that says basically no one pronounces the name properly if they don’t speak Arabic. But they said “Ka-TARR” is closer than “Cutter.” I paid attention because Cutter is the way I always thought was the right one.

As I said, some might consider it a feature rather than. bug.  Still, I think you can make an argument that Qatar engaged in a bait and switch, promising that beer sales would be allowed and then pulling the rug at the last minute.
