After finishing 4th (I think) in her semifinal heat, which was by far the fastest heat, Juliet's time was fast enuf to get into the finals. She was in second place down the stretch and was overtaken at the tape. So, she was third, and made the team. It should be noted that the favorite, Mu, she of the loping stride, was clipped and fell she tried to move to the inslde. Juliet is over the moon. Her running mate, Willis finished 6th, or so, in the same semi heat as Juliet.

Very awesome year for Whittaker so far! NCAA indoor champ, NCAA outdoor champ, and now, Team USA Olympian. And she ran down the media darling Michaela Rose of LSU in each race. 

Whittaker's sister from UPenn made the trials 400m final.
