Everyone KNEW that Lamson was going to run it. And Lamson hasn't been hit hard like that before. Really, TT: how about some deception and unpredictability!!!!!

Yes, of course everyone knew that Lamson was going to run it, because Lamson is by and large a running quarterback and not especially effective throwing the ball (4/9 for 42 yards; 4.7 ypa, sacked once).  We could constantly surprise the other team by doing what no one expects, but the reason we don’t is the players aren’t particularly good at it (which is why the other team would be surprised if we tried it).

Our O looks impotent and completely predictable. That last pass by Lamson should also have been intercepted, the second one he's thrown today. Their defenders seems like they have no difficulty staying with our receivers.

If he is such a poor thrower, as he appears to be, why did we even take him as a transfer? These days, you can't get by with a purely running QB -- unless one has a really tricky O scheme, like Georgia Tech which can allow a talented running QB to rack up big yardage. But Lamson doesn't have breakaway speed for such a scheme.

I suspect we took him to have a running quarterback for certain situations and an emergency warm body in the case that our starting quarterback and our promising freshman back-up were both injured.

Musta gotten just the bad 10 min cause we don’t look good.
Other than a few good defensive plays.
Have not seen one good thing on O except I continue to think our OLine often gives good pass protection.
