Oregon looks like Iowa when they played in a Rose Bowl I attended long ago.

This is the "fairest" way possible. If it is all according to chalk, so be it and nothing really changes. If the "rankings" do not reflect what the number 1 seed regards as reality, the number 1 seed should be able to enforce their choice, and so on down the line.

Yes. I’d also do it every sport I can think of. NFL, NBA, MLB you name it. One thing I think it adds value to the regular season.

Yes. I’d also do it every sport I can think of. NFL, NBA, MLB you name it. One thing I think it adds value to the regular season.

I've long thought 8 conference champions only and reorganize college football into 8 regional conferences by ten or twelve or however many teams. Conference championship games would be epic because that is the path to the playoff. And Notre Dame can join the ACC or **** off.
Since that will never happen, I love the idea of top seeds naming their opponents. The twitter wars would be insane.
