Well, Rivera said the expectation is 8/9 wins a season. Like you, I think that is rather ambitious but I guess the adage, “shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you’ll land among the stars” applies in this case.

I get aspiring, but Kal certainly risks face planting instead. Their choice and they will have to live with the results either way. It was clearly different for us with Shaw - we were already a 3-9 team after many years of sliding - and Taylor obviously had to go after the abuse allegations. Kal clearly made a choice here in comparison.

I saw what preceded that interaction. That player, on the sideline, was pushing past his teammates towards a weenie player to amplify an altercation. Luck stepped into his path and grabbed his facemask to stop his progress and impart some of his deep wisdom about sportmanship. Good for Andrew.
