It's hard to see us doing any better than the NIT this season. At least we'll have a shot to defend our title...

It will be tough to get into the NCAAs. We are 1-6 versus RPI top-50 teams, and while the computers won't know it, Oregon was clearly not at full strength. On the plus side, we don't have too many bad losses. USC (#106) is the worst loss. We absolutely have to beat UCLA and Colorado at home. If we do that, and either beat Oregon away or pick up 2 wins in the Pac 12 tourney, we could get in. I think we'll have to play our best to do that. I am not sure 10 Ray Lewis speeches could get our guys up for the NIT again.Â

If I had carte blanche, I would go up and ask Dawkins just when the hell he started coaching this team. But as much as we would all like to know, that is a question better asked by someone like Wilner.
Or Muir.
Or Muir.
