The UCB uniforms have changed more dramatically over time than the Stanford uniforms, so it is probably best to judge them with a frequent change perspective.
This new batch of outfits is fine, and definitely look better than many other UCB uniform versions over the last 40 years. Their bright yellow, dark blue and road white colors just don't work as well together as red, white and black IMHO. Once you have to deal with their color set, I think it is close to optimal. Nike almost certainly wanted them to have 4 or more looks, and the little bear unifies the series. Good for them.
From my perspective, the football uniforms look better than many in the Pac-12 and the logo looks a lot better than the Hartford Whaler inspired toilet bowl with a "C" logo.
The models wearing the volleyball outfits did not fit well and they made the models look dumpy. But that is probably not an observation that will be noted by most fans if they don't have to watch Project Runway each week.Â
