Living in Amsterdam, the night games take some dedication. Wazzu is a 4 am game time. Luckily I have a baby who's needed to eat around half time of the first games. I actually have an alarm set and am planning on watching this whole game.

Just got home from working a pool party for a sorority. I am going to prep some pub grub for the wife and I, feed the kids, put them to bed, and settle into the couch in Tucson AZ for kick off. Happy to not be working the second job on a Saturday night for once.

My lovely daughter is visiting from college and I promised to take her out on a "daddy-daughter" date before the late start time had sunk in.  Blood over water or old school ties so my best hope is for a joint with a seat where I can keep an eye on the TV over the bar.  Maybe Opa's or Willow Street in Los Gatos?

Bangkok... 9am Sunday morning... bizarrely, I prefer the ones that start up at say 5am as I can fully focus on the game (gnash teeth, etc) and then take over the 5 year old when it ends.

Funny enough I've used Go Trees for years before living in Amsterdam was even on the radar. Not wholly coincidental though as I am from Austin originally  :)

Publius, I have worked in bars to help pay for school since I was a frosh on the Farm. When I came to AZ for graduate school I started managing a security company for a friend to help with costs. I still do it now to help get ahead on my student loans and to have extra funds for fun. Since both Mrs. Buddha and I are teachers, extra income is always nice to have, especially with two small children.

Dealing with drunk and entitled kids was much more fun when I was young and single than it is now. That said, if you are ever in Tucson feel free to drop me a line, I can put you to work :).

I DVR'd the game while I was at a friend's birthday party, did not check on the score, then watched it at home after the party. The days when I had to find a South Bay sports bar that was willing to tune in the Stanford game are gone.
