I always thought the Bootleg Poster was Garry Cobb Jr., the son who played cornerback at Stanford.

He certainly speaks as someone who played the position, and would explain what he was doing on the board.

Add, he goes by SUIndian31, which was Garry Cobb Jr's number at Stanford, so I am fairly certain it is "our" Garry Cobb Jr.

I've exchanged some messages with him. To his credit, he has never mentioned his dad or his dad's media tie-ins in Philladelphia.  (If he had, I wouldn't be walking this back right now).  So, the factual part of my post is:  he IS trying to make a place for himself in the recruiting evaluation guru space,  and he does spend a lot of time analyzing HS kids as part of building his own brand.  It's also factual that he delivers a lot of value for the time spent reading his posts.

Other than that, everything I thought I knew was wrong.  Wouldn't be the first time.
