For those who don't follow MBB closely, Travis is one of our 4 recruits for next year and our first McDonald's all american recruit since the Lopez twins in 2006.

Making the USA Junior team is a nice honor and will be useful experience against top flight competition before he starts his college career.

Not surprisingly, he has pretty good company on the team: "Ten of the 11 players have signed a National Letter of Intent for the 2014-15 NCAA season. Jones, Okafor and Winslow will play at Duke University; Alexander and Oubre signed with the University of Kansas; Berry and Pinson will head to the University of North Carolina; Blackmon signed with Indiana University; Johnson will play at the University of Arizona and Travis signed with Stanford University. Turner remains undecided."
