After falling behind 5-2 late in the first half, Stanford scored in literally the last second of the half, then scored twice in the third period while holding the Bruins down, even through several 6 on 5s that seemed like calls that weren't there in the first half.

In the last 30 seconds, Stanford drew an exclusion (that I think should've been a penalty, a player with the ball facing the net dragged under from behind) and converted with less than 5 seconds left to tie the game.

If you're looking for good Mexican, you should head to EPA and get some Tres Hermanos. One of the things I miss most about leaving the Bay Area.

FCS football counts, but if there is no NCAA team title associated with the event then forget it.  Same rule would applies for ultimate, synchronized swimming, rugby, badminton, table tennis, etc.

And with SC and Bush the rule definitely applies.  The NCAA would have taken that title away, but the AP did not.  So does that count or not?  Easy rule...No NCAA team title, no need to tally.  And if the NCAA takes away your team title (see UCLA softball) then the tally is reduced.

Many of those claims are pretty weak, but there's no definitive way of resolving the issue. You start getting into a morass pretty quickly.

Arizona State won 96 national championships in archery and badminton, including men's, women's, and co-ed championships (yes, 96 -- not a typo). If you count those, then ASU has over 130 national championships, which is just silly.
