The coaching staff thinks freshman outside linebacker Bobby Okereke will be doing a Kalambayi  look-alike routine once he gets built up in the SC program.  Wouldn't that be fun?

I think the staff gets some credit for a defensive scheme that set up Kalambayi to make those plays.  I've seen some seasons where talented players lost leverage because of schemes that didn't do that.

What about Alfieri and Barton?  There's also Tyler and Veach.  Maybe Barton gets moved to Safety?

The widow and kids won't even notice because they'll be gagging on the $40,000 bill for all the services the hospital says you got before you expired. You see, even though the hospital was a preferred provider under your medical plan, all the services were provided by separate entities with space at the hospital. Those entities are not preferred providers and are free to price gouge you. Since your widow probably signed the admission paperwork when you came in passed out, they will pursue her relentlessly for every penny.

Yeah. I know there are honest dedicated medical professionals out there. But don't count on that being what you get.

Ron George was the same name that came to mind.  DoggNasty is faster. It looks like he will be the best pure OLB we've ever seen in a Stanford uniform.  Maybe the best pass rusher period.  With that speed in agility, he could drop back into coverage as well.  The only reason we didn't see him on the field last year was because of the depth.

How quickly you all forget Trent Murphy...???????  Kalambayi may get to that level, but keep in mind Murphy led FBS in sacks last season

I think people are commenting as much or more on the way Kalambayi is getting the sacks as on the number of those sacks.  Murphy was a sackmaster, but got those sacks in a much different manner.

To me, Kalambayi appears to be a special one (though we haven't necessarily had a chance to really examine those "other traits." Athleticism is obvious but the more qualitative traits take a while to emerge.)

Kalambayi is a good one, but I am not sure ferocious is the word I would use to describe the sacks on Saturday.  Kalambayi's sacks on Saturday all came as a result of his exceptional ability to mirror Cyrus and drag him down.  Ferocious applies more to Murphy's hit on Connor Halliday last year.    :o
