I know it was a week ago, but I've got a question about a play from the bowl game. On Devon Cajuste's second touchdown (10:18 in the third quarter, 2:05 into the game if you've still got it on your DVR), the Cardinal came out in a formation I don't remember seeing from them before. Split out wide to the left (on the very bottom of the screen) was offensive lineman David Bright, all 300 pounds of him. On Hogan's snap, Bright drove hard, as if he expected to get the ball. Hogan never looked in his direction, though, and fired the strike to Cajuste for the touchdown. So two questions:
1. Does anyone remember seeing this before?
2. For any who were in attendance and might remember noticing, did this look like a legitimate formation, i.e., something they could've run out of, maybe with Bright as a lead blocker on the outside?

Please clear the field! The game is not over!
