[size=1em]I think the article may have reached an incorrect conclusion that Golson took a risk by choosing FSU over various SEC schools. I'm speculating, but it sounds to me like the SEC schools were barred from taking him due to discipline UDFG imposed on him for cheating. [/size]

[size=1em]I wish I could be more specific regarding the particular graduate department at FSU that accepted Golson, but I have not seen any mention of it. I am sure that Golson will learn a lot in this unidentified graduate department, and I look forward to hearing about his receipt of an advanced degree. In the highly unlikely event that things don't go quite as planned, I am confident that FSU has sufficient, recent experience in crisis PR to adeptly handle any situation that might arise with its new quarterback.
