Brown throws another pick with 3 minutes left. Bruins have life at 31-34.
Yes, the Cougs tried to make up for the botched snap, but could not convert.

I saw that. I assumed that the first failed 2 or conversion was from a botched snap, but that the second one was always meant as a two point conversion to tie?

Tough ending for the Bruins, as their back-up, Chase Garners’ kid brother, throws an INT.

Looked almost Hollywood like, but Ethan Garbers could not deliver in the pinch. The Bruins were 12 yards away from FG territory at the time of the pick.

Is Wlat Harris their offensive coordinator?

And that would be the AZ Wildcats, who almost knocked off Stanford's next opponent yesterday.

Trojans moving the ball at will... until they get to the 30. Some dumb calls. Luke Fickell coming?
I fear for McKee's health against the Domer pass rush.

Utah and OSU are locked in a tough match. Both are future opponents, and both look like they would give our defense fits.

Utah just had its second punt blocked by OSU. The first one was returned for a TD; this one to the Utah 11. OSU is in a good position to complete the north sweep of the south.
BC
Spoke too soon; this one is going back because of a penalty and Utah keeps the ball.
BC
No matter, Utah’s drive stalls, they miss the field goal, and OSU turns around and scores a TD. 42-31 OSU, with about 10 min left.

OSU wins 42-34.
There were four Inter-division PAC-12 games, and the North won all four: OSU beat Utah, Cal beat Colorado, Oregon beat UCLA, and Washington beat Arizona.

SC probably goes with a big name coach but I would at least give Jonathan Smith an interview. Should interview the Iowa St coach. SC can't tackle and they couldn't protect Slovis.
Fresno/Nevada fun fourth Q. Wolfpack scores with 2 seconds left, 2 pointer caught but 19 catch receiver can't get a toe in bounds.
OSU backs hit the hole hard. Thought that Jones could be that kind of back but nooooooooooo...

Agree on Smith. He’ll run away with PAC-12 coach of the year honors. And the Civil War might be for the PAC-12 north.

While it might seem desirable to have Stanford be the only team that defeated them, I don't want them crying about how good they are and how they got robbed of a playoff spot (which they won't get unless total chaos ensues. Too many other more "interesting" possibilities). Worse, if they get a playoff spot they will just embarrass the PAC-12 by getting destroyed.

Read somewhere that the Civil War is no longer going to be called the Civil War.
I think we can all probably guess why.

I always thought it was silly to call football rivalries "war:" Civil War, Holy War, Border War, War on I-4 (at least it rhymes). And then there's "100 Miles of Hate." I much prefer Big Game.
If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

Yes, I heard that the game will forthwith be referred to as the Uncivil War . . .
BTW, agree with Papa John's take on rivalry game names.
P.S. SC should hire Fickell. That would be BIG trouble for all in the P12.

Maybe my opinion on the silliness of comparing football to war has been influenced by George Carlin (RIP):
