They've gotten men in base in each of the first three innings. Pitch count continues to increase quickly. I'll be happy with 5 innings from Williams.

If the announcers are talking about Roy G. Biv and gumbo with chicken feet the next two or three innings Alex Williams is pitching, it'll be a good day. Making me hungry....

I find myself watching our BB team again. They are an easy team to like and to cheer for! I think that was a bad call at first base.

Foot was off the bag. If Phogge were producing the camera coverage in this game we would still be batting right now

Damn Stanford’s batters are not making their pitcher work. 4 innings and only 30+ pitches.

Ouch! A three run HR... Trail 4-1. The bats need to wake up. I think that should be it for Williams after the single after the HR.

Jones saw 10 pitches in his strike out, so Noland needed 15 pitches in the 6th for a total of 56.

Crampton and Park are the only batters who will make a pitcher work. Everyone else jumps on the first pitch (or first strike).

Clearly our game plan was to be aggressive at the plate, but we have not hit the ball square (Brock's HR excepted). And our pitching has been poor. But hand it to Noland; he's pitched really well. He does not have a big league fastball, but he's located really, really well and changed speeds enough not to get strikeouts, but to get grounders.
