Harbaugh is up by 11 with 11 minutes left in the game, and goes for the jugular by throwing deep. How is OSU supposed to get back in the game if Harbaugh won't start turtling in the third quarter? Isn't that what elite coaches/teams do -- shut down the offense at the first sign of a second half lead and try to cling to the lead you already have? Oh wait, that's right, literally no good coaches do that.... my bad.

OSU's defensive schemes have been used against them. Harbaugh, et al are reallly good offensive strategists. Remember the breaking of the code in the Fiesta Bowl when Coby Fleenor kept going for pass td's down the middle.

Oops, he did it again. 85 yard touchdown run with under 3 minutes to go. Doesn’t Harbaugh know that when he turtles, the running plays are supposed to go for 1-2 yards at most. It doesn’t take anything time off the clock when you score!

By the way, South Carolina beat Clemson, removing the ACC from the playoff picture.

And then OSU TE can't reel in a pass again because he's wearing a brace on his elbow. He missed one very important catch in end zone for same reason.

45-23 Michigan. Impressive victory. I think the margin of this defeat effectively knocks OSU out of CFP contention.

The issue isn’t turtling per se, much as it gets a bad rap in these parts. The issue was that Shaw continued with the strategy even as our running offense has become less and less effective. Turtling is a great strategy when your running backs can reliably gain 5, 6, 7 yards per carry and you can mount a 10-play, 7 minute drive that doesn’t give your opponents the ball back. It’s a horrible strategy when your running game leaves you third and seven after two runs barely get past the line of scrimmage, and you are punting the ball back to the opponent up two with three minutes to go in the game.

Very pleased to see Harbaugh get this win AT Ohio State. All but one of the pundits before the game picked OSU to win. Harbaugh and his staff had a great plan and executed it. Ryan Day needs to undertake some introspection. The Buckeye loss was not due to lack of talent. They were simply outplayed and outcoached.
Oregon up 7-3 vs. the Beavers midway through the 1st quarter.

Super happy for Harbaugh, who most of the UM fanbase wanted fired not too long ago.
Yes, he has talent at Michigan. In part because he's a great recruiter. But OSU has arguably better recruits. Harbaugh had his team ready for the game (really, he'd been prepping his team for this game all season) and had an excellent game plan. What a great coach.

Thrilled for Harbaugh. I’m happy he found a formula that works for him at Michigan. Michigan broke it open in the fourth quarter. Ohio State sold out to stop the run, gave up a couple big passing touchdowns, and Michigan kept probing until by the fourth quarter the Ohio State defense just collapsed.
The other key was the Michigan defense gave up 3 points in the second half.

No mercy. Inside Harballs wants to win by 2,000 points. I hope the next Stanford coach has John McKay balls.
Hope Jim gets his NC. I loved it when he snubbed Fox at the end of the game. If it had been ESPN the director, the TD and the replay producer would have had coronaries.
In my football book there are three Gods, Steve Sabol, Ernie Ernst and Harballs.

Beavers up 10-7. Just blocked a punt with 10 minutes left in the half. Beavers look super motivated. Smith has done a great job at that program.
