Great to see two guys admitted to Stanford as undergrad transfers that are not from Harvard and that we didn't offer in high school. Presumably, they are doing well with college coursework and achieving a strong GPA. Regardless, this is clearly a change of tide.
I will be truly impressed if we pull someone in at the level of Austin Jones - someone that would be receiving NIL money. But this is a great start.

I will be truly impressed if we pull someone in at the level of Austin Jones - someone that would be receiving NIL money. But this is a great start.

Given how far along these incoming transfers are, seems likely Shaw (and Muir) got the go-ahead much earlier in the year to pursue candidates that met certain requirements presumably. I wonder if there's a number out there or if it's more open-ended. Good news, however it played out.

It appears Williams-Thomas is admitted, the other two maybe not given no release from the AD, we have high school recruits who announce they are “committed” before they are admitted, but that cycle can be much longer. If he entered the portal on Dec 5, was contacted Dec 6, that’s still just three weeks to apply (including getting recommendations) and admitted.
Not sure how contacting potential grad transfers works

We have had many commit prior to acceptance. We have 9 2024 baseball commits plus 5 for 2025. Now 4 softball 2024 commits.
