Brink has been terrific but we are becoming one dimensional. Jump sitting at 1-10 and reluctant to shoot now. I think maybe all of Iriafen's points were in the first half too. We need people not named Brink to score.

On a couple of different occasions the paint was left completely open as we guarded the perimeter and they took advantage by leaking someone inside.
A question for those who watched the game - how was Stanford usually defending the high ball screen? Switching? Going under the screen? Sounds like Belmont did a good job of taking advantage of mismatches when Stanford switched with Lepolo or another guard trying to defend a bigger player in the lane. I recall watching Lepolo going under the screen against Duke with the Blue Devils then taking (and making) 3s. If possible, I would like to see Stanford's guards be quick and strong enough to fight through the screen and stay with the ball handler. But then maybe the opponent gets a step on the Stanford defender and drives to the basket.
I am not sure what the right approach should be. Maybe someone here can ask at the next chalk about how Stanford wants to defend the high ball screen.

The players are forced to adapt to the officials and the shooting. Monday morning reviews need to allow for that.
