Well, I was entertained again. 14-pt lead, 13-pt deficit, within a possession or two into the final minutes… oh well…
IMO, we should be well past the point of moral victories and just simply being competitive in games. We need to actually win some! We definitely had chances late. Regardless of how much talent we have, I have zero confidence in Haase managing that talent and leading any Stanford team to the NCAA tourney. Simply look at his history.
At least the games have been entertaining. Soon, will probably just stop watching altogether.
Too many moral victories over the years.
Precious few of memorable strings of actual victories.
These are good to great players.
They play hard.
They just don’t / haven’t won a lot.
Maybe they’ll start an impressive string of wins.
Until then moral victories feels like being served up lukewarm gruel with moldy bread.
