McLish not in the Hall but Bobbbbb and I saw him pitch in the PCL, I believe for the Padres.
The "In question" Indian is not a catcher.
Slide got very close and DC added. However one player is usually missed.
1931,'32,'33 Yankees: Dickey, Lazzeri, Ruth, Gehrig, Combs, Pennock, Ruffing. TWO TO GO. Hoyt and Durocher gone by then.

The two Yankees not mentioned are lefty Gomez and third baseman Joe Sewell.
Brooklyn outfielder Zack Wheat's mother was supposed to be of native blood. That contention has come into question. As of now he is still recognized as native by the Hall.
I think Mick was thinking of Chief Meyers of the Giants. Good player, not in Hall.

In 165 plate appearances in his rookie year Ty Cobb hit.238. Did he ever hit under .300 again and how long (in years) did he have consecutive seasons hitting over.300?

WAG: No more seasons under .300, and I'd guess 22 consecutive seasons over .300.
Interestingly, Cobb didn't walk much. He's #1 on career batting average, but #11 in career OBP. He only walked over 78 times once, in 1915 -- which was the only year in the last 18 years of Cobb's career in Detroit in which they came close to winning the pennant, finishing 2nd to Babe Ruth's Red Sox. I'm guessing the pitchers didn't give Cobb much to hit. That was also the year that Cobb stole the most bases in his career (96) and was thrown out the most (38).
Cobb batted leadoff, but led the league in RBIs four times and had 91 or more RBIs 11 times in his career, and led the league in OPS 10 times, at the age of 38 for the last time. He batted .357 with 102 RBIs as a 40 year old...in a Philadelphia A's lineup in which 7 of the 8 starters hit .300 or better and two of the subs were 40 year old Eddie Collins, and a fresh-faced 19 year old named Foxx.

Geese Mick, give us some time. Do YOU know that Vermont is two way? When my kids were little we used to have Saturday BF at the old Just For You on Pot Hill, go to a playground with long concrete slides with a view of Bayshore, SF General and the Mission stretching to Diamond Heights and Twin Peaks. Then I would drive to Vermont and roar down the hill with no brakes to shrieks of laughter from the back seat. Nowadays one would have to be heeled to walk in the neighborhood.
Wine... either Mondavi Cabernet 1969 or Grigich Hills Chardonnay in the 80’s.

Well the music video was shot on the little peninsula past the east parking lot of the Saint Francis Yacht Club but he probably wrote it at a bar in Tucson.

Good one. After showing them Lombard Street, I used to take visitors from out of state down Filbert Street. It's parallel to Lombard, two blocks over, and perfectly straight. It looks like you're about to drive off the edge of a cliff. I got more than one "don't, don't!" even though I didn't take it fast.

Mick’s last question was SF based and the old City Sugar King was Adolph Spreckles but I don’t know if he had any Lolita’s in his resume.
Bobbbbbb, did you show your relatives the house just down the hill on Lombard at Leavenworth that was the Kim Novak home in Vertigo? The hotel on Eddy where Jimmy Stewart sees the Novak character enter is now the practice football field for Sacred Heart. And the tower she jumps off at at San Luis Bautista was created by special effects in Hollywood. If you haven’t visited the Mission it’s worth a trip. Also the long eucalyptus grove on 101 (Stewart driving Kim) is still there.
