He took two steps after catching the ball. Gotta b a fumble.
So sick that we've forced all of these turnovers and still trail 10-31.

that roughing the passer penalty in the 2nd quarter was laughable.
and we really could use a healthy Levi Rogers.
but i like Elijah's arm. strong enough to thread the needle in among multiple defenders.

But also strong enough to throw it right to the other team on the last pass.
Why don't we just give them a safety?
I called it. Safety.
I have to give it to our D. They haven't given up any points in the second half.

So close to stopping them on 4th down…

Yep, D has played hard and been fairly effective. Brown looks like he needs a yr or half yr of seasoning. He's not anticipating quickly enuf. Of course, he hasn't had a ton of time often. But...

Lamson couldn’t even get a yard on 4th down with a half min to go. Pathetic!

If Stanford loses to Wake 40-10, can we all agree that TT should be fired on the spot?

The 1983 LSJU/Wiggin team's worst stretch was a 4-game losing streak where the team was outscored 96-42.
The 2006 LSJU/Wlat team had a 6-game losing streak where the team was outscored 235-39.
The 2021/Shaw team was outscored in its last 5 losses by 193-59.
This year's edition has lost its last 4 games and been outscored 160-38. Maybe Wake will be the salve?

Not unless he leaves Brown in a game where Brown gets injured. Give the guy a few years to rebuild.

I’m not ready to bring out the pitch forks but for a guy touted as an offensive guru, we’ve scored 38 points in our last 4 games.
We’re past the halfway mark of year 2 of the rebuild and it still doesn’t look good nor promising.

If you could time travel back here circa August and say we'd be ahead of both FSU and UNC in the conference standings...

During today's game, the analogy with TT that came to mind, at least on coaching ability, was Rachel Hanson. He seems in over his head.

Among SMU's opponents, only Houston Christian scored fewer points (7) than Stanford. All others scored at least 16. Going into the game, SMU tied for 55th nationally in scoring defense.
If you are wondering, Wake Forest before their last game ranked No. 120 in scoring defense.
(EDIT: If you're into niche stats, Stanford, after the SMU game, is in a three-way tie for No. 131 nationally with 4.1 yards per play, per TeamRankings. Last year, Stanford's ypp was 4.8.)
I believe that if Stanford loses 40-10 to Wake Forest, TT should be fired on the spot.

Bingo. TT isn't Jim Harbaugh.

Since the Syracuse game, Stanford's been outscored by 122 points during a four-game losing streak and allowed 70 consecutive points before scoring late in the first half last night. Oh, and Stanford has lost
11 straight home games against FBS opponents -- and 16 straight against ranked teams since beating No. 3 Oregon 31-24 on Oct. 2, 2021. That's three years of suckage. Regression to the mean? This is a historic suck.
