Former Stanford
TE RB and current NJ Senator Cory Booker was my youngest son's graduate speaker. Did a great job and snuck in not one, not two but three Stanford references (5:08, 12:37, 13:00). Very likeable and even more so because P'ton has a tradition of awarding a beer jacket to the speakers (the graduates all wear beer jackets), and Booker both wore it and posed for pictures with it on (36:38). Classy guy.
Cory Booker speaks at Princeton University's Class Day 2018
Former VP Al Gore spoke at my older son's graduation. He followed a student who was extremely amusing, and Gore's first two minutes were actually quite funny (rumor is that the same student speaker wrote his first two minutes). Gore -- a graduate of the Stanford of the East -- declined to wear the Princeton jacket. Sigh.
