A-ha, finally a topic I'm in expert in having been a college women's coach for two years.Â
It is a very demanding sport that takes getting used to even for people in shape because of the constant cutting and the 14 hours of gametime during a weekend.Â
The hard part in getting it to grow is getting tv networks to pick it up. The reasons given are there isn't a good place to put commercials, and it's hard to take seriously because the games are mostly self-officiated. I was surprised to hear the Olympics picked it up before tv did.
