During one meeting, Apple executives told the Pac-12’s school presidents that it was only interested in the conference’s primary media rights package, not a digital one. ESPN and Fox currently hold the rights to the conference’s main package, paying a combined $250 million per year on average to the conference.

  

So maybe that means they aren't looking to bid for the Pac-12 Network, but just the football and basketball games that are currently shown on ESPN/ABC/FOX/FS1.  

Having our tier 1 games off of ESPN/FOX is only going to increase the howls of derision from the people who currently have a hard time accessing our games that end up on the Pac channels.

OMG, if Scott did this, Pac-12 fans might literally put his head on a pike!
