Geese Mick, give us some time. Do YOU know that Vermont is two way? When my kids were little we used to have Saturday BF at the old Just For You on Pot Hill, go to a playground with long concrete slides with a view of Bayshore, SF General and the Mission stretching to Diamond Heights and Twin Peaks. Then I would drive to Vermont and roar down the hill with no brakes to shrieks of laughter from the back seat. Nowadays one would have to be heeled to walk in the neighborhood.

Good one. After showing them Lombard Street, I used to take visitors from out of state down Filbert Street. It's parallel to Lombard, two blocks over, and perfectly straight. It looks like you're about to drive off the edge of a cliff. I got more than one "don't, don't!" even though I didn't take it fast.
