1. Gentleman Jim Corbett, Sacred Heart. World champion heavyweight.  Knocked out John L. Sullivan in the 21st round.
2. John Henry Johnson, Pittsburg. 
3. Barry Bonds, Serra.
4. Jason Kidd, St. Joseph Notre Dame/Alameda.
5. Mark Spitz, Santa Clara
6. John Paye, Menlo School.  I played against him, he gets to stay in.
7. Bill Russell, McClymonds HS
8. Helen Wills Moody (19 Grand Slam titles, didn't lose a set in singles play from 1927 to 1932).
9. Peggy Fleming.  3 time WS champ, won gold.
10. Don Budge, University HS, first to win tennis Grand Slam in 1938.
11. Frank Robinson, McClymonds HS.
12. Gino Marchetti, Antioch HS
13. Norm Van Brocklin, Acalanes HS
14. Jim Hines, McClymonds HS (first to break 10 second barrier).
15. Joe Morgan ,Castlemont.
16. Dennis Eckerrsley, Washington HS, Fremont.
17. Ricky Henderson, Oakland Tech.
18. Matt Biondi, Campolindo HS.
19. Johnny Miller, Lincoln HS.
20. Jim Plunkett, James Lick HS.
