We are beginning a crucial stage of this conflict.  Russia is beginning their attack in the east.  If they succeed it would be easy to see them trying to hold the whole eastern part of the country.  This war could become a bit of a stalemate with devastating consequences.

OTOH, if UKR can hold, the current Russian positions become untenable in the long term.  I think at most Russian retreats from the North and tries to hold the land bridge between the Dombas and Knipro river.  But I also think there is a good chance they just retreat to pre-war lines and declare victory having de-Nazified UKR.

This will be a critical week.
