The chocolate ice cream cup was called a Malt made by Carnation. I think the Gremlins were real orange juice frozen. Probably defrosted and refrozen at Cal.

Correct on both counts.

The frozen malts were really good.  The orange gremlins were just ok (15 cents, as I recall).

I really liked the malts.  Didn't care for the gremlins, but as I recall, you could flip the gremlin lids a very long distance.

When was the last time the #1 and #2 seeds were knocked out of the Western Conference final?  (I don't know the answer, but I'm really curious). I read that the last time that the #1 seed failed to qualify for both conference finals was 1994.
