Where the resources to support the increased military presence in Europe will come from is a big question all by itself. The current size of the Army is the smallest since before WWII. The Navy and Marines are downsizing. We have "pivoted" towards China. Are we now "pivoting" towards Europe? I suspect we are spinning in circles. Oh, BTW the Stryker is an "interim" vehicle. I am not sure what conclusions can be drawn from our present posture because it was absolutely not sustainable before our increased presence in Europe. Now it is a fantasy-land.
