but also a real hardship for the students to fly cross country twice during a school week. you basically have to leave a day earlier to get from here to the midwest/east coast. minneapolis is non-stop 4 1/2 hours but penn state is 2 flights and 9 hours total (each way)
even most pro leagues have geographic divisions (presumably) to cut down on travel.
another example of thinking $ rather than students.
they would all take no-stop charter flights and maybe do what some NFL teams do when they have back-to-back games in the midwest/east coast and stay the week back there, of course the students would just dial in for their classes....
