Re UCla, do the UC regents have some input about the impact of travel requirements on students?

I know someone on the board, and I had just texted to ask this exact question when I saw this.  I'll update.

Sounds like the Regents were not and will not be involved with this decision.

Not sure how the process works, but that seems surprising.

Wonder if there's an aggrieved party somewhere lawyering up to get an injunction.
