Just FYI, I don’t think there is an actual linking between Oregon and OSU, and Washington and WSU. I think that’s something that legislators in their respective states are pushing, but you can also imagine there is pushback to that. Let’s face it, you probably have OSU and WSU alums deathly afraid that Oregon and Washington will leave them behind, while you have Oregon and Washington alums deathly afraid that OSU and WSU will be an albatross around their necks.
