Pac-12 schools “reportedly have issues with some of the Texas schools”

I suspect UC regents would not allow Cal to play in the same conference as Baylor and TCU.

Right... Cal does not want to be near a baptismal font at the Baylor stadium, 
nor with the Disciples of Christ Bible Thumpers in Fort Worth at TCU.  
Imagine how the Baylor Bears and Horned Frogs feel going to a Well of Satanic Souls near Sather Gate?
