Just me, or do beach players tend to be shorter than indoor?

Yes, by a lot compared to front row indoor players.   The two unicorns in high level beach are Plummer and Klineman.

Hodel and Ekstrom are playing (with different partners) at the lower level AVP Waupaca/Oshkosh event next week.  As is Carly Wopat, who hasn't played professionally since 2020.

Lauren Fendrick is playing Hermosa with Zana Muno; Fendrick's first AVP since 2020, though she has played some FIVB events this yea

Well, Hodel & Hildreth qualified for Hermosa Beach, so they will be playing there.  Seeded #14, they take on the #3 seed at 11:10 tomorrow.

Ekstrom & Germann are the #12 seed at the "Waupaca" Open. If they win their first match (8:00am Central Time), they will meet up with Wopat & Spieler (#5 seed).

Thanks for the reminder.   Lauren Fendrick and her partner Zana Muno easily won their first match.
